    Assistant Manager

    Essential Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
    • Lead and manage hardware store when store manager is out.
    • Run store floor or other specific, significant store area including personnel, facility, merchandise and service.
    • Insure standards compliance when manager is out.
    • Participate in location merchandise management including buying, pricing and physical merchandise presentation utilizing procedures established by retail administration.
    • Lead and participate in regular and special meetings.
    • Open and/or close hardware stores as assigned.
    • Participate in special project work when advised.
    • Maintain and comply with established retail standards.

    Special Skills/Training/Requirements:
    • Skill to operate computer and other automated office machines.
    • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and problems.
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
    • Demonstrated ability to supervise other employees, understanding of the fundamentals of supervision.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of sales approaches, methods, and techniques.
    • Occasional lifting up to 80 lbs.
    • Occasional climbing and working from ladder.

    Experience/Education
    • 3 years retail experience.
    • Background in retail management or merchandising preferred.

    Store Manager

    Essential Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
    • Manage hardware store personnel including staff selection, training, mentoring, and coaching employees.
    • Oversee location sales and customer service using established retail customer service standards.
    • Facilitate for store location inventory productivity.
    • Manage and maintain hardware store facility and location equipment using established retail image standards.
    • Direct location merchandise management including receiving, merchandising and selling of product utilizing procedures established by retail administration.
    • Manage daily hardware store sales, bookkeeping responsibility, local expense approval, monitor and act on daily reports, control inventory using established loss control procedures, and follow all computer or manual practices and policies.
    • Manage and promote all established safety practices with the store staff.
    • Participate as a member of the retail managers team.
    • Plan and execute annual operating budgets for the hardware store location including sales and margin projections and expense control.
    • Lead and participate in regular and special meetings.
    • Participate in special project work when requested.

    Special Skills/Training/Requirements:
    • Knowledge of management, supervision practices, principles and regulations.
    • Knowledge of industry and support of company core values.

    Paint Specialist

    Essential Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
    • Primary duties to include running the Paint Department and being responsible for our “Paint Store within a Hardware Store”
    • Provide customer service and Paint product information within the Paint Department.
    • Order, stock, sign, and merchandise Paint Department products as directed by the Store Manager utilizing established procedures.
    • Ring up, carry out, and load store merchandise.
    • Maintain Paint Department orderliness and cleanliness.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with Paint customers and contractors.
    • Maintain and comply with established retail standards.

    Special Skills/Training/Requirements:
    • Experience in Paint color matching with an affinity for color.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of paint and color, as well as prior experience in retail paint sales or professional painting.
    • Skill to operate computer and other automated office machines.
    • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.

    • Conduct Inspections of the vehicle before departing on delivery’s
    • Pack and load products into delivery vehicle according to company’s specifications
    • Deliver orders to customers
